Z’Bah, born Abubakar Stephanie, is a newcomer to the music scene. She has just released her debut single, an Afrofusion vibe titled “WKND”.
Z’Bah is a talented, delightful singer with a serene voice. Her fondness for music was ignited at a very tender age when her late Father introduced her to the pop classic music of the legendary Micheal Jackson, the alternative sound of the iconic Asa and other legacy musicians.
Z’Bah is following her passion for this art form with her debut song, WKND, which is a feel good mellow groovy song about enjoying one’s life regardless of what day of the week it is. Jimoh Soundz produced and engineered this record, making it a rhythmic combo of soothing lead vocals, beautiful harmony laid carefully on a laid back, sentimentally emotional instrumental.
Z’Bah’s style of music is best defined as Afro-fusion; a unique blend of Afrobeats, R&B and Pop sounds. She appreciates the artistry of contemporary global female artists such as Billie Eillish and Tems. She finds inspiration listening to them.
