Senté is a rapper, singer-songwriter and producer from Kampala, Uganda. His music pulls from an eclectic range of influences – most notably in the hip-hop, R&B and afrobeat genres – and his versatile approach to creation means his music knows no bounds. On his debut single ‘DND’ Senté delivers confident declarations of his intent to “land in the top 10” and take his mother “on a jet plane” among other things, and his desire to bring a “fresh face” to the music scene in his hometown. He is scheduled to release a number of singles to announce himself to the world through December 2023 and the turn of the new year. For Senté, DND marks the beginning of a long journey to the top of Uganda’s burgeoning urban music scene.
