As a storyteller, Eri Ife chooses to wrap his essence in his music. From the stories of his life and the dreams that he carries, he believes the purpose of his music to be light; shone into the lives of those who listen.
His debut project, ‘Eri Ife: The E.P.’ was released in early 2017. The project received
praiseworthy mentions from Nigerian superstars such as Adekunle Gold, Simi, Johnny Drille and industry powerhouses such as MAVIN’s Don Jazzy. Eri Ife has worked with and performed alongside Nigeria’s most talented growing acts, Including a collaboration with Sony Music’s Remy Baggins on YLLW, and consistent work with Universal Music’s SirBastien.
Eri Ife is an amazing live performer. Typically working with a 5-Man band, he deconstructs the sounds of his own music and delivers unique and wonderful live interpretations of their sounds, regardless of genre, and from booked shows to his own.
In 2017, Eri Ife put together the New Culture Festival – the first of its kind in the city of Ibadan – selling out an 800-capacity venue, and delivering an experience fans still request of him to recreate.
