The Cameroonian and Nigerian vibrant music scene welcomes the latest offering from acclaimed afro-soul artist Zeeval, as he collaborates with fellow artist AYOX on their newest track, “Panama.” Evoking the tender glow of love’s ardour, Zeeval tenderly serenades his beloved, recounting cherished moments amidst a backdrop of lush synths, resonant basslines, and subtle R&B influences that complement his inimitable vocal prowess. Joined by AYOX, whose distinct vocal stylings infuse the track with a blend of carefree melodies and poignant lyricism, “Panama” marks a seamless transition for Zeeval into a more R&B-inflected soundscape.

Achiri Valentine Ambe, known by his stage name Zeeval initially started his musical journey as a studio backup singer before transitioning to recording covers of popular songs. He gained recognition by sharing numerous cover videos on YouTube and participating in music competitions, winning five out of seven. After completing his GCE A-Level, the English-speaking baccalaureate in Cameroon, he pursued higher education at the University of Bamenda, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry.

Initially performing under the moniker Zee TooniceZeeval decided to simplify his name in 2021 to reflect a combination of his mother’s name and his own, becoming simply Zeeval. Signing with the GNeth Entertainment label, he released his debut official single “Spirit,” which garnered positive feedback from his audience. Notably, Zeeval collaborated with Magasco on the track “Give,” generating considerable acclaim and further expanding his fan base. Zeeval’s music immerses listeners in a reflective journey through his smooth vocal delivery, connecting them deeply with the stories from his reality and world. Influenced by artists such as Manu Dibango, Locko, Magasco,Wizkid, Fireboy  and more, he has crafted a unique style blending RnB and Afropop. Zeeval’s talent has garnered him numerous accolades, including a nomination for Best Male Artist of the Year at NBACA.
