“Our film Infinity is both a spiritual journey and an entertaining family story told in musical form. Our hope is that audiences watching this film will learn about Africa beyond the stereotypes of colonial legacies. We would like to take you to a time that existed before man emigrated to populate the earth!” Nsimbi said of the film.

INFINITY tells the story of a young boy who must unlearn his selfish ways, and come to understand the interconnectedness of the universe and the importance of community. Through the guidance of a shaman and his pure-hearted little sister, we observe how ancient wisdom can guide a lost soul to deliverance.

Created by Nsimbi, directed by filmmaker Matege “Pest” Rogers, and produced by Swahili Nation and Baboon Forest Entertainment, featuring an entirely Ugandan cast and crew, Infinity tells the story of a young boy who must come to understand the interconnectedness of the universe and the importance of community. Through the guidance of a shaman and his pure-hearted little sister, we observe how ancient wisdom can guide a lost soul to deliverance.

In the wake of BLM unrest, the Covid pandemic, and dangerous divisive politics, we realized there was a desperate need for love and positivity that transcends time, geography, and race. We made Infinity to remind us through music that whenever the message inscribed in our spirits gets blurry, the universe sends messengers to guide us through our blindness back to the source–what is truly important: the love that can stop us from hurting each other by healing ourselves.

For us, visual art is an extension of our music. Even with our music videos, we have always been very intentional and conceptual as we build worlds, tell stories, share positive messages and promote cross-cultural dialogue.

We’re proud that several of our music videos have been recognized over the years, Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards 2022 Winner for Most Fashionable Video of the Year (Mbaga), Independent Music Awards 2019 Nominee for Best Music Video (Dunia Ni Matembezi), UK Shiny Awards 2019 Nominee for Music Video (Mujje), Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards 2018 Nominee for Most Fashionable Video of the Year (Mujje)

As artists, we’ve both been on the sets and in front of the camera on countless projects. We’ve always been heavily involved with developing concepts and costume design. During COVID lockdown, we were forced to become even more creative- we both shot and directed our first music videos- Nsimbi’s “Searching” by Nsimbi and GNL Zamba’s “Dear Hiphop.” We love having the ability to express ourselves even beyond the music. It’s really empowering to be able to share all of our creative visions.

We’re looking forward to creating more projects that merge film, music and culture!
