22nd of December 2021 is definitely going to be an unforgettable day for BUJU who had a successful debut concert in Lagos, Nigeria.

It was a night of electrifying performances from Buju as he gave brilliant renditions his hit songs and collaborations. The show witnessed a huge turn out of fans and top industry favorites as they all came out to support him. Evidently, the mix of both worlds resulted in a memorable day for all.

The concert started off with ribs cracking at the sound of jokes from some of Nigeria’s best comedians, Kennyblaq, Pencil and Mr. Hyenana. Much later into the night, BUJU made a subtle entrance to stage which left unsuspecting fans in the crowd stand to their feet in cheers after which he performed his swinging melodious songs in lightly spiraling harmonies, back to back.

The crowd kept cheering into the night as each guest artiste made their own unique appearance to stage. Artistes like Dai Verse, Magixx, Zinoleesky, Alpha P, Victony, Omah Lay, Blaqbonez, Ladipoe, Bella Shmurda, and Zlatan entertained the excited crowd.

The loudest of roars swallowed the night when Grammy winner, Burna Boy, and Grammy-nominated artiste Wizkid stepped on stage. Wizkid, now regarded to as Big Wiz stepped on the stage, and the crowd wobbled, scrambling for space to have a digitally relevant part of this cultural icon. He sang his popular song with Buju, Mood, tingled the fans with memories of Ojuelegba, swayed them with snippets of Essence, and then made a grand exit. Burna Boy on the other hand came in raging. He hugged Buju for the longest of seconds, then jeered the fans on with the connection of Ye. Eventually, his performance ended and he left the stage for his prodigy, Buju, to finish what he had started.
