As one of the featured artists in Drummr Africa’s Yamen Yamen Collective Music Project, Nigerian artiste Nano Shayray brings the party to the project through his record, “Girlie Riddim”.
“Girlie Riddim” is a catchy afropop tune on which the singer creates melodies about a love interest and the sultry feelings he has towards his person of affection. “Girlie Riddim” has Nano Shayray oscillating between vocal ranges in tunes that can only be traced back to his exposure to varying cultures he has encountered in his lifetime living in urban cities of Nigeria and China.
“Girlie Riddim” is deemed as the pop-off single off Yamen Yamen, and it sits early in the projects’ tracklist so as to give listeners an early taste of the popular side of alternative African Music. It is the third pre-released single off of the project which will be released as a cohesive body of work on September 15th, 2022.
