Nano Shayray is a new and exciting voice emerging from Nigeria’s capital, Abuja. He was born in Lagos state, Nigeria and was raised in Abuja. He offers a window into the different sounds present in the capital’s budding music scene, aside from rap music, with a fusion of genres ranging from afro beat to trap music.
Nano Shayray draws inspiration from international sounds such as Post Malone, Travis Scott, and Migos. He is also heavily influenced by Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Runtown. These influences fueled his love of thoughtful lyricism and unusual Melodies.
He has been on a mission to share his sound with the world since the release of his single “friend or foe” in 2017. Followed with two projects that made appearances in the top 15 spots on the Apple Music world charts and his most recent Ep in 2021. In 2022, he was selected amongst fifteen other artistes to be a part of Drummr Africa’s Yamen Yamen pan-African collective music album. His most recent work is a single titled Blow Up.
