Jay Millar Releases spiritually charged single, “Pray” and “Hold Me Down” off his “Still I Rise” Project

Jay Millar has just released, and speaks on Pray and Hold Me Down, two spiritually charged songs off his recently Released EP titled Still I Rise.

The songs “Pray” and “Hold me down” are about hope and belief enveloping, captivating and spiritual insightfulness. The artiste describes his apiritual devotion as expressed through both songs thus: “I Pray in hopes for a better tomorrow, hence the song. Hold me down in the context of the project is me basically saying that I want to be held down by a spiritual force, which I believe is God, and even if I may fall again, Still I Rise.

ABOUT JAY MILLAR

Joel Junior Ozolua (born April 10th, 1992) professionally known as Jay Millar, is a 30-year-old Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter who hails from Edo State. Jay, as popularly called for short, officially kicked off his music career in 2015 with the release of a song and video titled “Ce Faci” while studying Marine Engineering in Romania. He also performed in the 2016 Romanian Got Talent show in which Jay free-styled and caught the attention of the judges and crowd. He started off solely as a rapper and later honed his skills and developed more dynamic artistry that allows him to perfectly swing between different genres such as RNB, Trap & Afro-pop and express the extent of his versatility. Jay Millar sees his music as the best language to communicate in today’s world and hopes to change the world with his music in its truest form.
