The release of KAY KAY comes with new focus single “Never Tired” which reveals a narrative of resilience and relentless effort, where Kayode confidently declares that he is “never tired” of working and making money. On recording the song Kayode shares, “I made this song in Ghana, it was my first time there. I had the beat playing all through the flight and I had gotten the entire vibe of the song. As soon as we landed and setup, I recorded the entire thing. Everything I said in the song was exactly how I was feeling.”
Kayode, a.k.a Kay Kay is a rising star from Lagos Nigeria. His distinctive sound encompasses various music genres ranging from Afrobeats, Hip hop, Drill, and R&B. He first started gaining media attention with his freestyles and covers on Instagram, growing steadily with every release. He would release a mixtape titled ‘Playtime Is Over’ which officially kicked off his career, and later release his debut EP ‘STILL FIGURING LIFE’.
