Rising Young African Star, Kayode, Returns With New EP, “KAY KAY”

Rising young African star, Kayode, returns with a new EP self-titled “KAY KAY”. KAY KAY brings you into the vibrant world of Kayode’s musical mind as he presents his second offering to the world. This self-titled 4-track project is a testament to Kayode’s boundless creativity, versatility in music, and undying commitment to maintaining a unique sound that effortlessly blends genres. With four tracks serving as a sonic journey, the KAY KAY EP showcases Kayode’s musical prowess and unbridled confidence and readiness to take the music scene by storm.

The release of KAY KAY comes with new focus single “Never Tired” which reveals a narrative of resilience and relentless effort, where Kayode confidently declares that he is “never tired” of working and making money. On recording the song Kayode shares, “I made this song in Ghana, it was my first time there. I had the beat playing all through the flight and I had gotten the entire vibe of the song. As soon as we landed and setup, I recorded the entire thing. Everything I said in the song was exactly how I was feeling.”
 
Kayode, a.k.a Kay Kay is a rising star from Lagos Nigeria. His distinctive sound encompasses various music genres ranging from Afrobeats, Hip hop, Drill, and R&B. He first started gaining media attention with his freestyles and covers on Instagram, growing steadily with every release. He would release a mixtape titled ‘Playtime Is Over’ which officially kicked off his career, and later release his debut EP ‘STILL FIGURING LIFE’. Kayode sees his music as a means to connect with others, to share his emotions and experiences, and to impact lives profoundly.
