Born in the Bronx, NY, and raised in Kumasi, Ghana, Nova Blaq is proving to be one of Ghana’s most exciting emerging artists. His unique music production and flow showcase his multicultural background and versatility which are on full display on the “Crime of Passion” EP giving the audience an energy-infused experience. Whether it be the dark and dangerous anthem “Pull Up”, or the nostalgic feeling of “Late Night”. Nova delivers a very distinct and evocative experience with this debut EP, “Crime of Passion”.
Nova Blaq began his own trailblazing journey at the age of 16 when he began to produce music and would later on become a full-fledged artist at age 22. The heat surrounding Nova Blaq along with his musical ability has gained him the support and respect of major Ghanaian artists such as Medikal, Mr. Drew, and E.L who feature on the project. Nova Blaq recently received massive accolades for his sick feature verse on Froddo Baggins by E.L
The E.P also features American/Ghanaian rapper Blackway who shot to fame after his massive single for the Spiderman movie “WhatsUp Danger”. They collaborate on “Pull Up” which is the lead single on the E.P.
