London Based Afrofusion Artiste PapaRaZzle Unveils Surprise New EP “I’m In Paris And I Miss You”

Sparked by an unforgettable week in Paris earlier in May, London-based afrofusion sensation PapaRaZzle is excited to unveil his surprise new EP titled I’m In Paris And I Miss You. Recorded in just two days, the 7-track project is a culmination of an unplanned and exhilarating creative journey that began with PapaRaZzle linking up with talented French producer Lisa Tz via Instagram, before heading to Paris for a few intense studio sessions with Lisa Tz, as well as fellow French producers Saan and Racy J. The result is a collection of tracks that not only captures the spontaneous and magical energy of Paris, but also blends the vibrant city of love with the raw authenticity of PapaRaZzle’s artistry.

As well as working with Lisa Tz, Saan, and Racy J, PapaRaZzle also ropes in his long-time collaborators Nahz Rashid, Jaemally Beatz, and HBEATPRO to add to the rich tapestry of soundscapes that brings the project and its dynamic sound to life. Whether it is the opening track ‘Pilot’, which sees PapaRaZzle trying to swoon his lover with the serene Paris sunset as the backdrop, or the carefree and exhilarating ‘Miata’ that pays homage to all the lovers cruising in their two-seaters this summer, every track on I’m In Paris And I Miss You tells its own story, encapsulating a unique facet of the artist’s Parisian experience, while also reflecting the diverse influences and creative synergy of its contributors.

Alongside ‘Pilot’ and ‘Miata’, I’m In Paris And I Miss You also sees PapaRaZzle delivering on the upbeat titular track ‘Paris’, which captures the desire for a stress-free escape, encouraging listeners to dance and dream. ‘Angels Singing’ has the London-based riser capturing the joys of a campfire night with friends, while the soulful ‘Come Back Home’ offers a late-night melancholic reflection on lost love, and ‘I Get High, I Fall Down’ embodies the enduring hope of a hopeless romantic despite past disappointment. The EP concludes with ‘Music Makes Me Feel Better’, a tribute to the healing power of music and the longing for more time with loved ones, offering a heartfelt and hopeful close to the project.

Thematically, I’m In Paris And I Miss You delves deep into the spectrum of human emotions, encapsulating life’s complexities and the myriad feelings we experience. From love and heartbreak to sadness and nostalgia, the EP captures these sentiments beautifully, turning them into music that resonates widely. The EP offers a narrative journey, exploring the impactful encounters and deep connections we form with people who enter our lives, and leave an indelible mark. This heartfelt project is a testament to PapaRaZzle’s ability to turn personal experiences into universal narratives, offering listeners a piece of Parisian magic and a resonant connection with his artistry.
Speaking about the inspiration behind his I’m In Paris And I Miss You project, PapaRaZzle says, “This EP captures a wide range of emotions, feelings, and moods that we all experience as humans. As we navigate through life, we learn, we grow, and we crave companionship. We meet people who impact us profoundly, and in turn, we leave our mark on them. Strangers become integral parts of our story. This collection of experiences is what makes our life, and what makes it beautiful. This EP marks the beginning of a series of city-themed projects I’ve always envisioned, and I’m excited to share this journey with you. I hope this particular project brings a piece of Parisian magic into your lives”.
