Nigerian artist and producer Kemuel takes listeners on a bold sonic journey by releasing his highly anticipated new tape, Welcome to Wondah:Land. Set to drop on November 22, 2024, the project sees Kemuel stepping fully into his producer moniker “Wondah”, showcasing his unique blend of Afrobeat, R&B, and dancehall influences through a carefully curated collection of tracks that reflect his artistic evolution.

Welcome to Wondah:Land is a multi-dimensional project that marks the next chapter in Kemuel’s ever-expanding musical journey. Known for his distinctive sound that blends infectious melodies with deep lyricism, Kemuel has long been recognized as one of Nigeria’s brightest talents. With this new project, however, he shifts focus to his production prowess, ushering in a fresh perspective as “Wondah”—a producer fully immersed in his world, offering an experience that fans will feel as much as they hear.

Born and raised in Rivers State, Nigeria, Kemuel’s passion for music began at a young age, leading him through a journey that saw him transition from vocals to production. With previous works including the Escape (EP) and CLOUDS, Kemuel has already made a name for himself in the industry. As Wondah, he has produced for notable artists such as Ajebo Hustlers on Celine Dion featuring Odumodublvck, Alpha P on tracks like OMW, Light, Hold Ya, and 4 am, Zhus Jdo on songs like Dump on Dem and Divine Pree, as well as *Continental’s Time & Space featuring King Perryy, Yarden, and Alpha P. He’s also worked with Yarden on Wait, Divine, and Time, which established him as a versatile and innovative producer.

On Welcome to Wondah:Land, Kemuel takes a deep dive into his world as Wondah, creating a dynamic soundscape filled with bold musical decisions that push the boundaries of Afrobeat, R&B, and beyond. The project kicks off with ‘Bomaye’, a powerful statement on self-assurance and success, featuring the effortlessly cool PsychoYP. From there, the tape flows into tracks like ‘Abena’, a soothing solo effort that explores nostalgia and contemporary Afrobeats, and ‘NeverMine’, a melancholic yet relatable R&B track with Azanti.

The tape also features several collaborations, such as the entrancing ‘444’ with Miss Eddy, and the head-bopping anthem BURN’ with Alpha P. Each track builds on the thematic world of Wondah:Land, where success, love, and self-reflection blend with bold sonic experimentation.
