Johannesburg-based rapper, singer/songwriter and lawyer Dan Mwale teams up with Maglera Doe Boy for his new single titled “100 Percent (Remix)”.
Speaking on the collaboration Dan Mwale stated “ Maglera reached out to me after hearing the song and the rest was history”. After hearing the song in late 2021 the Klerksdorp born rapper Maglera Doe Boy approached Dan to work on this record and he delivered a memorable melodic verse, different from the deep voice approach he normally uses. The single will be released under Dan’s record label under exclusive licensing to Afrisounds Ltd.
Dan Mwale produced and collaborated with various names within the South African hip hop community such as PatrickxxLee and the late Costa Titch.
Dan juggles his time between the booth and the office and finds peace in the balance brought by the two disciplines. Striking a balance between music and law is not an easy feat, but Dan never gave up his dream and has been chipping away at his musical career during all of his years of study and experience as a corporate guru.
