Multi award-winning South African music duo, Major League DJz, are returning to the dance floor at the Durban July this weekend with the next installment of their Blacony Mix Africa property set to take place at the Berea Rovers, Durban, this Sunday, 7 July 2024.
Kicking off their worldwide series on home ground in Johannesburg in March 2024, the dynamic duo’s culture shifting event property returns to South Africa after an explosive sold out show in New York last month.
Joining the duo on decks are Kelvin Momo, Kabza De Small, Oscar Mbo, Distruction Boyz, Culoe De Song, Kmat, Sun EL-Musician, Kwayame Brothers and Shakes & Les; the Durban July edition is expected to be another sold out show.
Two of the hardest working artists in the African dance music scene, Major League DJz’ Balcony Mix Africa 2024 continues to position them as front runners exporting SA culture to the world, as has been seen with their instrumental role in championing the “amapiano to the world” movement.
“We love what we do. Every day we wake up and push the culture. Having our events and music have an impact on the world is just the cherry on top,” share Major League DJz.
Balcony Mix Africa is a musical experience, created to take fans on a Dance Music journey, introducing them to some of the biggest and most exclusive songs on the continent.
