Afro Pop Artists Johnwav & Temë Release A Maverick Project, “Luv & Lus”

As the conversation of Afrobeats takes center once again with its dynamic growth, Afropop artist Johnwave and Teme team up for a four-track project. New fans are due for their euphoric moment with Luv & Lus”  which is a testament to worship, love and lust.

Depicting the modern day relationships, the duo forms a perfect symbiotic relationship between a producer and artist, Johnwav who is associated with ‘Declan Rice’ forms a flawless and euphonious soundtrack. In ‘Ice Water,’ they portray the adoration towards their muse despite having doubts towards their budding relationship. Temë poses a great ability in storytelling as he forms an image of physical attraction and lust in ‘Beamer’ as the serenading production reminds you of a smoky night at a party with red lights on while dancing to the infectious groove. The chord progression is smooth and sexy. With its groovy drums and rich bass, “Beamer” builds up the excitement 

The EP is a perfect agmalation of the emotions experienced as one traverses across lust and emotions. The upbeat vibe of ‘Majo’ and the catchy melodies give you butterflies, accompanied by the punchy log drums and bass giving off the surreal excitement of being with  someone. The whole song captures that rush of dopamine you get when you’re into someone.The exciting, dizzy feeling you wish would never end. The rhythm section keeps the energy high, matching the thrill of new love. The  detailed production to this EP is not only credited to Johhnwav and Temë but also producers: Tochi Bedford, Trill Xoe and Tobi Fads.
