We are an NGO dedicated to the preservation, sensitisation and archiving of Nigerian music history, beginning in the 1950s and ending in the early 2000s.
We have spent the last few weeks working on ‘Golden Lady’ – a compilation for Women’s History Month. The idea was to have talented producers “flip” records by Nigerian artists from the past & present eras of Nigerian music.
These “flips” are to be released on Soundcloud & Youtube featuring producers: Suté Iwar, TrillXoe (producer for Wani, SGaWD), Johnson IP (producer for PsychoYP), SirBastien (producer for Solis), DJ lolu, fuji & Lobi.
The project was released on the 31st of March.
